About AnyBand

AnyBand is a promotional Korean Pop group formed by cell phone giant Samsung's AnyCall to promote their latest product, "AnyBand" new cell phones. The motto for this campaign was "Talk, Play, Love." Interestingly enough, while several people believe technology does isolate people, Samsung opted to promote the concept that technology unites people. There was a short 9-minute promotional video for their debut digital single (AnyBand) , which included their songs TPL (Talk, Play, Love) and Promise U as well as promoting the cell phones on television.

A concert was held at Central City Millennium Hall in Seoul on November 27, 2007. AnyBand performed TPL and Promise U as well as their second single's A-side, DayDream, at the concert. They also gave individual solo performances. Tohoshinki and Epik High performed as well alongside their fellow band members.

Though they were formed to promote Samsung's new cell phones, it looks like they might be staying together, as a second digital single was released unannounced (DayDream). In fact, the day that the single was announced was also the day the single went on sale.

AnyBand consists of popular K-Pop/J-PPop artist BoA, Xiah Junsu of boyband Tohoshinki (also known as DBSK or TVXQ), Tablo of Epik High, and jazz pianist Jin Bora.
